On The Cover

Staying on top of the latest lighting science is key to maintaining a competitive edge. The relatively new light-emitting capacitor (LEC) technology is the star of this design by architect James Phillip Wright, who employed the paper-thin light source in a glass stair application. The panels, available through CeeLite™, have been used in advertising, signage, exhibition, and theatrical projects as well as illumination of floors, ceilings, and even countertops.
