On The Cover

Designer Larry Laslo’s Newport II portables for Frederick Cooper draw inspiration from the architectural modernism of the Bauhaus movement, the basis of mid-century design. The body is a convex brass form that gently twists and is finished in a warm Antique Copper wash. A white linen shade is accented with a bronze velvet ribbon.
Laslo’s Gala chandelier with crystal and a Shiny Nickel finish mixes an Art Deco element into the vignette.
