Production Details
Digital Requirements
We can accept the following formats: QuarkXpress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop. We can also accept a generic PDF, EPS, or a TIF file. We will accept, but do not recommend sending a JPG file because it's a compressed file format, and you may loose some image quality.
If you are making up a bleed page the overall document size should be 8.375 X 11.125 inches, which will trim to 8.125 X 10.875. There should be no text or other important information within 0.25 inch of the edge of the document to ensure it will not get trimmed off. Please do not include crop marks inside the image area.

Color
All color, whether it’s a picture, a graphic, a background color, or a colored font, should be in process CMYK mode. Don't use RGB, spot, indexed, lab, or ICC tagged color.
Trapping & Overprinting
The default standard trapping setting of 0.144 is what we require. Most desktop publishing software has an overprint option, this must be turned off.
Fonts
Please include all fonts used in the ad. If you are sending a MAC or postscript font, please include both the screen and printer portions of the font. We may not have the font you use on our system and the ad will not look as you intended.
Graphics
Please include all of the original graphics and photos that were placed in the ad. Sometimes we need to make adjustments to the original graphics placed in the ad.
Proofs
We request that you send a proof of the ad. This is for your benefit as well as ours. This will help assure that your ad prints as you intended.
